Material Handler

IMMEDIATELY HIRING!  

Starting Pay at $21.96/hour plus additional $0.70/hour shift differential. 

Evening (2nd) Shift 2:30pm-10:30pm

As a Material Handler, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities:

·  Loads trailers with finished goods.
·  Receives inbound materials and transfers finished goods off production line.
·  Ensures all dock & safety procedures are completed prior to entering trailer.
·  Recordkeeping & collection of data utilizing computers, radios, & RF equipment.
·  Completes regular inspection of equipment, maintains a neat and clean work area.
·  Perform other duties as deemed necessary including tasks that could include work in other departments as directed by Lead or Supervisor.
·  Deliver trailers to and from plant.

 

Qualifications: 

·  CDL Required
·  Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hoists, and other equipment.
·  Ability to follow detailed instructions, read and comprehend policies and procedures.
·  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis and 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
·  Ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, stairs, maneuver around equipment, manipulate valves, bend, reach, kneel, stack pallets, work from heights up to 20-25 feet, and other related tasks.
·  Capability of working in a Non-Temperature controlled environment.
·  Wearing of protective gear including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, hard hats and other PPE as required.
·  Must have the ability to work overtime and some Saturdays.
·  Basic math and computer skills required.
