Computer Systems Analyst

Praescient has extensive experience designing, developing, and integrating solutions for customers including the US Army, Special Operations Command (SOCOM), US Navy (USN), US Marine Corps (USMC), US Coast Guard (USCG), Department of Justice (DOJ), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), intelligence community, and local law enforcement agencies, among others.

Praescient Analytics is in search for an Computer Systems Analyst to support the efforts of the Naval Surface and Warfare Center in Port Hueneme, CA.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university accredited college/university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and five (5) years of experience in the Information Technology field.
  • Allowable substitution: Nine (9) years of professional experience in the Information Technology field.
• Professional Certification: CompTIA Security or equivalent and Continuous Education (CE).
• Five (5) years of experience in:
  • Installing and configuring network equipment;
  • Updating virus protection software; and
  • Providing IT analysis and/or IT program support.
• Three (3) years of experience in:
  • Defining and analyzing functional and/or technical requirements;
  • Risk Management Framework; and
  • Reviewing and granting access to systems.
