Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our team in the role of Pyschotherapist. This position is full-time ranging from 0.8-1.0 FTE (32-40 hours per week).
POSITION SUMMARY
The outpatient psychotherapist provides evidence based clinical care to patients and families in the clinic setting, maintaining an individual therapy case load. Therapeutic interventions provided may include psychosocial assessment and treatment planning, individual, family and couples counseling as well as group-based counseling. The outpatient psychotherapist partners with psychiatrists, primary care providers, social work, and community supports to assist patients in the achievement of their treatment goals with a focus on overall health and wellness.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION
- Master’s Degree, Field of Study: psychology, counseling, mental health, social work, or similar field.
- 2 years of experience in providing counseling services in a therapeutic environment required
- Experience working with children ages 6-16 - preferred.
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
FTE: 0.8 -1.0
Shift: Monday - Friday, days
