General Purpose of Position:
Manages Finance and Accounting Functions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Prepares balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports as directed |

Supports dealings with banks and financial institutions |

Provides accounting, finance & analytical support for Scion Companies and operating companies |

Provides finance support and analysis of special projects |
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to explain complex tax laws
- Knowledge of JD Edwards experience a plus
- Working knowledge of GAAP concepts
- Advanced problem resolution skills and communication abilities (both verbal and written)
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word
Education and Experience:
- BS degree in finance/accounting with CPA designation required
- Minimum of six years of financial analysis and forecasting experience
- Extensive experience in financial reporting preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Required to sit, talk, see, and hear. Occasionally required to walk, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate computer.
- Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment while exercising the highest level of confidentiality.
- The work environment is indoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet
