We have a rare opportunity for a Small Military Engines Program Manager at our West Palm Beach, Florida location.

GATORWORKS ™ Agile Development is a newly formed rapid development organization created to provide the speed and flexible approaches to support internal and external customers. The Gatorworks ™ Rapid Prototyping and Small Military Engines Program Manager will lead a diverse program management and engineering team through technology initiation, development, rapid prototyping, demonstration, and transition to production supporting the P&W Expendable/Attritable engine technology portfolio. This position is an exciting opportunity to be part of the GATORWORKS ™ organization developing the critical technologies to support the next generation of P&W products. This position provides responsibility for multiple Government and internally funded programs / propulsion system studies, engine demos and technology rigs, focused on positioning P&W for future opportunities.

The successful candidate will have technical and project/program management experience to efficiently execute complex program activities. Strong communication and presentation skills required. Using the framework of PW 1.5 L2, as well as CORE tools and metrics, the individual will lead program(s) in delivering to technical and programmatic requirements. The individual selected will need to be flexible in responding to evolving program needs throughout the execution of the activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technology programs in support of P&W strategic goals
  • Working with weapon system contractors (WSC) and Government Customers
  • Support program MPR’s and IPMT’s and support the AMEP IPMT
  • Lead proposal development to meet customer expectations and win programs based on P&W strategic goals
  • Lead multi-functional teams maintaining alignment with P&W strategic goals and Interface with P&W Military engines senior management as required.
  • Manage program to EVMS and IMS requirements
  • Create/maintain expendable and attritable engines market analysis

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or an MBA and 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
  • Active or Inactive Security Clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to make sound decisions consistent with program strategies
  • Experience exercising concise and positive written and oral communications skills
  • Familiarity with Earned value management systems (external candidates will not have a working knowledge of PW EV tools)
  • Export Compliance experience is a plus
  • Certified practitioner in Agile program management tools and processes, including SCRUM
