Dozer Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dozer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating bulldozers and other heavy machinery. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe completion of various construction projects, including building, digging, paving, and horizontal drilling. The Bulldozer Operator will work closely with other team members on construction sites to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities
- Operate bulldozers to perform tasks such as grading, excavating, and moving earth materials.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs as necessary.
- Assist in the operation of additional machinery such as loaders, dump trucks, and graders when required.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.

Experience

-Proven dozer experience is REQUIRED.
- Proven experience operating bulldozers in a construction environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is a plus.
- Experience in operating loaders, dump trucks, graders, or similar heavy machinery is advantageous.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing site requirements.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with crew members on-site.
