Summary Direct the overall focus of many salaried and hourly personnel concentrating on safety, customer service, productivity, cost, and throughout. Try to ensure a proper, healthy, ergonomically acceptable, and pleasant working environment that results in accomplishing Company goals, department goals, and individual goals. Essential Functions Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Bar Mill functions including Rolling, Cold Finish Processing, Cutoff/Etch, Inspection, Utility, and Shipping with a strong interface with Bar Mill Maintenance. Additional reporting departments include Production Control, Item Engineering, Traffic, Receiving, and MRO Inventory Crib with a strong interface with our Dunkirk Operation. These departments and function relate to the entire New Hartford Operation. This job requires being on call many nights and weekends. Additional Responsibilities

Must have 10 years of progressive experience.. Desired work experience would include responsibility which reflects success in leadership roles gained though work in a process manufacturing environment, and thorough knowledge of Lean manufacturing skills set using Theory of Constraint, Six Sigma, and Value Stream mapping.
