PCC Aerostructures manufactures world-class assemblies and components for the global aerospace market.
PCC Aerostructures now includes more than 35 plants in the U.S, Europe and Asia with over 5500 employees and has ambitious growth plans.
Plant locations include Washington, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Ohio, Canada, Mexico, the UK, and China.

Position Summary :
Building upon level 1, the Bench Grinder / Deburr - Level 2 works with minimal assistance to perform all levels of hand finishing tasks such as edge breaking and employing a number of different deburr tools and media to achieve specified surface finishes on a number of difference materials.
This requires basic print reading competencies, an intermediate understanding of different deburr media uses, as well as an intermediate understanding and familiarity with customer specifications such as BAC5700.
Bench Grinder / Deburr - Level 2 operators also demonstrate and ability to use a number of inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers, profilometers, etc..
Reporting Relationships :
The Bench Grinder / Deburr - Level 2 will report to the Operations Supervisor.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Break edges and blend to surface finish requirement on Aluminum and / or Titanium products
- Ability to blend mismatches and chatter areas down to blueprint requirement.
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools, ability to check thicknesses as required.

- Daily duties may require extended duration of walking.
- Exposed to a Manufacturing setting with heavy machinery.
