Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate production requirements utilizing ERP system to place purchase orders of raw materials based on production schedule and inventory levels.
- Work with all internal and external suppliers to ensure on time shipments and deliveries.
- Prepare material inventory report monthly and distributed to all applicable parties.
- Attend daily production meeting to communicate issues effecting material and delivery.
- Purchase indirect supplies and ensure on time delivery
- Actively support and participate in continuous improvement activities, team meetings, and holding him/herself accountable for sustaining improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Two years or more of relevant experience preferred
- ERP/MRP software knowledge
- Manufacturing experience ideal with emphasis on perishable items
- Good computer skills
