Position Summary:

Level Two: Working without assistance, level two punch press operators perform all punch press operations including full press setup. This includes locating tooling, loading tooling and setting stroke/ram parameters. Level two punch press operators also provide assistance to level one operators including in process inspection and equipment setup. They also demonstrate advanced trouble shooting related to die issues, working with quality and engineering to meet customer specifications. Typically, 2-3 years of experience

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Tracks tool life management on all items used during manufacturing process.
• Periodically inspect product using standard hand tools to ensure defects are not replicated.
• Utilizes punch presses to manufacture features to print.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and fixtures as required.
• Provides training to punch press operator level 1

Mathematical Skills:

Required Experience:

3 years minimum experience in industry or related field

Level of Education:

High school diploma/GED equivalent required. Shop math and blueprint reading certifications preferred.
