Production Technician I

Job Description:

Predl Inc. is a plastics manufacturer in the infrastructure department seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Technician. In this position, the applicant will play a vital role in the manufacturing process of our products using safe, efficient and reliable methods. The applicant will be required to perform various construction tasks that require the utilization of special techniques and perform with a heightened level of competency. The applicant should be proficient and well-versed with many hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, math and geometry. Tasks can/will vary daily as needs fluctuate therefore the applicant should be comfortable with change and performing a wide variety of tasks. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble components of our product lines.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our standards.
• Prepare products for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and completing necessary documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and maintained.
• Perform general warehouse duties, such as receiving and organizing inventory and conducting regular inventory counts.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or construction environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of plastic welding techniques is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
