Job Posting for Call Center Representative at Preferred Homecare of NY

Preferred Home Care of NY is seeking a Call Center Representative to perform a wide range of clerical functions and administrative duties specifically related to the overall office operations that include, but not limited to areas such as reception, answering telephones and distributing messages, mail and faxes.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Understand the administration and management of office operations for home care agencies.
  • Ability to define problems and tasks, collect data and establish facts, take action and facilitate resolve.
  • Ability to perform various computer functions for information concerning patient and aide scheduling and coordination, assisting with communication between departments and overall office operations.
  • Bilingual in English/English required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High school graduate; some college credit preferred.

  • One to two years of experience in administrative, management, operations or other work related experience, preferably within the health care services industry.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HHA Exchange, and Internet
  • Investigative ability, highly organized, self-motivated, takes initiative, excellent written and verbal communication and analytical critical thinking skills; able to perform without much supervision.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to in-house staff with daily concerns of visitors and callers
  • Answering and routing phone calls
  • Taking messages
  • Greeting visitors
  • Perform general office duties
  • Data entry as needed
  • Perform a variety of complicated clerical and computer entry tasks and all other duties as assigned by supervisor
