Treatment Nurse/Wound Care Nurse Position Summary:
The Licensed Nurse provides wound care to designated residents under the supervision of the program manager. In addition, this nurse performs a variety of direct resident care as assigned by the Sub-Acute Program Manager.
Education/Certification:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty with a strong degree of professionalism. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum of H.S. degree or equivalent
- Long-Term care experience preferably in a sub-acute setting
- Must be currently licensed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse by the State of California (pay depends on license and experience)
- Prefer at least (6) six months' experience in managing complex wound care.
- Prefer IV certification
- Must be certified in CPR.
- Must maintain current licensure in good standing during employment with this facility in accordance with the State Board.
