Premier Health Associates is the region’s largest primary care based, multi-specialty medical group providing care to patients in thirteen locations throughout Sussex, Warren, and Pike Counties. Due to recent growth, a new position has been added to support the Practice.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Information Generalist will assist in implementing and maintaining the information technology systems for our growing organization. Primary duties will include monitoring and maintaining the basic computing infrastructure to accomplish key tasks, following networking rules for cybersecurity, and troubleshooting network errors and other technical issues.
Essential Functions:
1. Provide daily consistent in-house customer service for all levels of personnel
2. Implement and maintain network security measures
3. Troubleshoot network physical problems and replace damaged components
4. Daily Hardware maintenance and monitoring
5. Engaging in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational
6. Troubleshoot ancillary hardware, peripherals etc.
7. Maintain and troubleshoot VPN access across organization
8. Provides rotation-based coverage for IT Department
9. Ensure HIPAA compliance standards across the organization
10. Installation and upgrade of hardware, operating systems, and applications software
11. Creating and maintaining technical procedure documentation as assigned
12. Mentor and train other IT staff
13. Seek to continually improve processes companywide.
14. Provides end user application and training support, as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Three to five years of experience Tier 2 Systems Support
2. 1 year experience in cloud /on-premise systems design and implementation
3. Significant experience with Windows infrastructure and operations
4. Ability to muti-task and prioritize tasks and ticketing system effectively
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
7. Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications
8. Ability to collaborate with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
9. Database reporting skills a plus
