This position requires an intelligent person who will be working on many different tasks mainly supporting Director of Sales as well as estimating. Feedback is welcomed, creative ideas are encouraged, and positive attitude is a must. This position requires you to review and download plans, follow process, work with CRM system, create and maintain excel spreadsheets, cold calling, emails, and of course our customers. It might also require you to attend a networking event, put in extra hour when needed or drive around tri-county when required delivering samples or proposals. Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in sales or inside sales a plus.
- Experience in construction industry advantageous.
- Experience with construction software a plus. Construct connected, Smart bid.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist Director of Sales in all Business Development tasks
- Assist the company in the bid process by Downloading documents - Plans/Specs/Addenda
- Set up bids in Pipedrive CRM system
- Responsible for updating all Prequalifications
- Assist in developing relationship with Electrical Contractors to push new product line
- Maintain detailed database of contractors
- Review plans for scope of work
- Follow up calls to contractors
- Attend Meet and Greet Meetings at GC’s Showcases
- Delivering bid package to owner/clients when necessary
- Create and distribute new contract sheets
- Review and compare contracts
- Research new projects in Construct Connected
