What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM Operator/QC Tech position at Premier Precision Machining?
JBK Manufacturing is recruiting for a CMM Operator/QC Tech We are a growing company and we are looking for qualified candidates that are looking for growth opportunities and a long time career.
As a Quality Control Technician, you will uphold the safety of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. Perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. Quality control inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Read blueprints and specifications.
· Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
· Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
· Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
· Measure products with calipers, gauges, CMM or micrometers
· Accept or reject finished items.
· Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
· Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
· Report inspection and test data
· Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
- Experience with calipers, gauges, CMM and micrometers
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- High School Degree; Further qualifications will be a plus
