What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at Premier Property Preservation?
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to guests in a banquet or hotel setting
- Assist with food preparation and plating
- Deliver food orders to guests in a timely manner
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the dining area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards and guest services
Note: This position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds. Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is often required.
