POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is currently seeking an experienced Practice Director to join our team of practice management professionals in the West region, primarily supporting practices in Colorado and Nevada. This role is a unique opportunity to help build and lead a growing practice in a large healthcare market. In addition, it is an outstanding opportunity for the practice management professional who desires a broader business consultative role by servicing hospital-based physician groups. As the Practice Director, you will act as the primary relationship manager and leader for our physician client groups. You will be responsible for building effective, service driven relationships and providing innovative business and clinical solutions to complex matters in our practice. The Practice Director is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of quality care and customer satisfaction of the practice.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the Practice Presidents and RVP on day to practice operations and execution.
- Practice's core values, and creates a high-performance and high-satisfaction workplace
- Sustain profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the Practice’s operations, with a resolute focus on staffing, scheduling, productivity, recruiting, and retention of physicians
- Partner closely with Team Maverick operations team and the RP national Operations team to ensure operational consistency across all three practices.
- Sustain high-trust relationships with radiology directors at each hospital while managing outpatient imaging clients, role-modeling responsiveness, can-do attitude, and teamwork
- Effectively navigate the RP national organization including centralized support teams, leveraging such relationships to advocate for local physicians and clients, and muster resources for them
- Continually pursue and identify opportunities to improve operations, leading change management locally
- Anticipates potential future challenges and creates a plan to work hand and hand with future goals.
- Responsiveness in operations to clients, radiologists, teammates, referring physicians, and patients
- Build strategic relationships with existing and potential clients to forge new business
- Organize, analyze, interpret, and report key data regarding practice operations
- Communicate concisely and impactfully with radiologists, clients, referring physicians, patients, RP leadership, and RP support teams.
- Earn and keep the trust of local radiologists as their keystone supporter, advocate, sponsor, coordinator, and coach, engaging and involving them in performance management and improvement.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred and graduate degree (MHA or MBA, etc.) is a plus
- 5 years prior relevant experience in management, healthcare administration or radiology. A radiology management, private practice background is preferred
- Experience and background in accounting, revenue cycle management, and/or finance
- Comfort with core office technology tools for communication and analytics and readiness to learn quickly when required (i.e., Clario, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, PowerBI, SmartSheet, SharePoint)
- Candidates should have experience in working closely with physicians
- Requires a thorough understanding of customer relationship management, entrepreneurial based service delivery and an ability to adapt to a rapidly growing environment
- Demonstrated leadership in a management environment with core skills of detail orientation, follow through, process design, excellent communication and relationship management
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 20% regional travel and 5% national travel

The salary range for this position is $127,000.00 - $142,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
