Job Summary
Premier Toyota of Amherst is seeking an experienced Vehicle Salesperson to join our team. This is a commission-only sales position in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will mimic a passion for customer service, a professional rapport, and a willingness to work within a team atmosphere.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for this role is commission-based, with a potential earning of $50,000-$180,000 per year, based on sales goals and performance.
Responsibilities
• Greet, assist, and communicate extensively with guests and customers to establish rapport and loyalty.
• Utilize customer service and sales skills and knowledge of the product/service in order to understand customer needs and effectively respond to inquiries.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle, ensuring an enjoyable and positive customer experience.
• Secure financing, process paperwork, and ensure accuracy to maximize sales.
• Ensure product knowledge is up to date in accordance with industry standards.
• Maintain awareness of competitive products and industry/market trends.
• Own and take responsibility for the customer relationship throughout the sales process.
• Participate in customer follow-ups and surveys to assess customer service/sales performance.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of automotive sales experience preferred but will consider anyone with a great attitude
• Valid driver’s license; background check required.
• Highly organized with exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Microsoft CRM or Salesforce.
