About the Role
PREMIER is looking for individual to be responsible for the day-to-day Human Resources support needed to seamlessly operate all HR programs, policies and initiatives for PREMIER employees. Performs a variety of tasks and customer-service support to employees for a variety of human resources programs, processes and initiatives including talent acquisition, employee relations, leave process and paperwork, workplace accommodations, benefits and other general human resources areas. Assists with researching and writing various human resources-related policies, procedures and other related documentation or materials. Assists with audits, surveys, reporting, compliance and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with operational managers and responsible for day-to-day recruitment activities:
- Coordinate interviews; extend non-exempt offers of employment.
- Organize all background screening processes.
- Prepare offer letters.
- Complete Onboarding in HRIS system.
- Coordinate and transmit necessary information to supporting departments to successfully grant access needed to new associates.
- Conduct new hire orientation, complete/verify I-9 information, process and data enter paperwork.
- Create and publish new job opportunities within PREMIER systems and all external resources.
- Responsible for coordinating, communicating, tracking and entering for accurate payment all employee bonus referrals.
- Attends and represents PREMIER at local and state job fairs and recruitment events.
- Responsible to reviewing, entering and approving job transfers, salary actions, status changes and other HRIS system needs to ensure accurate employment records.
- Updates and maintains standard operating procedures for employment related functions.
- Assist with periodic audits and reports.
- Participate in Human Resources projects and initiatives.
- Review and approve transfers, merit increases and status changes within PREMIER systems.
- Ability to support general benefit questions, time management and general knowledge of payroll processing and reporting.
- Prepares and assists with the Leave, Accommodation and FMLA process for employees as requested. May answer general questions and provide basic direction of the process and related pay and time-off policies.
Skills and Qualifications

Must possess basic understanding of Human Resources philosophy and employment law.

Preferred degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study with proven working experience of 2-3 years of Human Resources, administrative, clerical experience or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.

Working knowledge and understanding of HRIS systems, department policies, procedures and guidelines.
