Position Summary: Collects all pots, pans, sheet pans, and utensils from production area, pantry and cafeteria. Washes all soiled cookware maintaining sanitized cooking ware and utensils. Assist with loading and unloading patient dishware. Returns clean cookware and patient dishware is to proper racks in production areas. Removes garbage from work areas to compactor. Sweep or scrub floors. Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine and three compartment sink. Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; this includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills. Empty full and heavy trash cans. Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use. Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning. Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines. Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned,

Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A.
B. Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
C. Experience: Six months Food Service experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality service preferred.
D. Special Qualifications: Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Must show good judgment and reliability. Must show excellent customer service skills.
