What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician/Optometric Technician position at Prescott Valley Eye Care, P.C.?
Prescott Valley Eye Care is seeking an experienced optician/optometric technician. Must be comfortable working independently with computers! Daily optical activities include working alongside our experienced opticians helping our prized patients with frame selections, optical measurements, dispensing glasses and contact lenses, contact lens training, working with EHR, glasses verification, minor frame repairs. Knowledge of VSP/Medicare billing a plus. When not busy in the optical, the successful candidate will help our optometric tech with pretesting/special testing including Autorefractor/K, auto-lensometry, FDT fields, iCARE tonometry, OPTOS, Medmount topography, Zeiss OCT, Zeiss HFA3 visual fields, entering acuities and chief complaint. All our staff help out with light cleaning duties. We place a premium on excellent customer service, superior quality and ethical standards. We are looking for part time evenings (2 to 6 PM) M, T, W, Th and possible Friday Mornings, or FT Monday thru Thursday 9-6 PM, Fridays 9-12.You must be passionate, honest, and hardworking. Pay based on experience.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
