Summary of Job Duties:
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, Director of Nurse, and Nurse mangement performs various direct patient care assignments pertaining to activities daily living to assist in the care of patients, and assists in passing medications to residents on their assigned unit These duties will be performed in compliance with federal, state and local regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have a current certification as a Medication Aide Authority (CMA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.

- Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor)
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities
