This role will manage customer communications, create project planning documents, and lead cross-functional teams to successful completion of project and program deliverables. The Program Manager will have fiscal responsibility over their program(s)

Job Description:
The Program Manager will lead technical programs within the Vehicle Engineering department. This role will manage customer communications, create project planning documents, and lead cross-functional teams to successful completion of project and program deliverables. The Program Manager will have fiscal responsibility over their program(s)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain program budgets, schedules, targets, and activities to meet customer expectations and business case financial expectations
- Learn and utilize corporate financial and engineering systems to generate data driven project success measures
- Maintain, track, and lead the resolution of project and program open issues
- Lead periodic program reviews with the customer and/or Company's Management
- Act as key participant in the engineering change management process
Qualifications:
- Able to write and develop quotes and change orders for Customers.
- Minimum 5 years of product development experience in a technical area or field
- Minimum 5 years of Automotive Concept/Prototype/Build experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading, developing, and reporting program critical elements (open issues, project timing plans, budget variances, etc.) to management, internal, and customer teams
- Strong leadership, interpersonal communication and presentation skills with the ability to impact and influence others. Must have a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to resolve conflict and foster teamwork, cooperation, and relationship building
