Missions Coordinator Campus Ministry

Description

Assists in creation of executable plans and coordinates strategies, tasks, plans, and operations for the ministry.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in creation of executable plans and initiatives of the ministry
• Provides coordination for the initiatives, plans, and projects of the ministry
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to effectively mobilize the Prestonwood community
• Oversees all campus initiatives of the ministry, to include, but not limited to:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and related systems and processes to achieve the campus missions goals of the ministry
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively administer campus missions activities, to include, but not limited to, ESL, The Hunger Project, Perspectives/Other Training, Operations Christmas Child, School Paks, and other campus outreach ministry
• Oversees ministry office administration, to include, but not limited to:
  • Answer and promptly respond to incoming general requests in the form of phone calls, email and web-based correspondence
  • Properly maintain office inventory to help achieve the goals of the ministry
  • Receive and route incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
  • Create and maintain a historical file retention system for all initiatives, plans, and projects of the ministry
• Work alongside the Missions team to oversee and execute large-scale initiatives of the ministry
• Cultivate and host discussions with members of the Prestonwood community to assist them in developing opportunities to mobilize themselves and to share the gospel with those in their influence spheres
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to effectively mobilize the Prestonwood community
• Oversee assigned staff and volunteer lay leaders to effectively achieve the global ministry goals of the ministry
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of ministry files and records for all mobilization ministry needs
• Ensure compliance of church-wide protocol for example, following finance procedures, utilizing church databases, on an as-need basis
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Some college, college degree preferred
