What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities and Security Manager position at Preventive Measures?
Summary: The facilities and security manager will oversee all building and grounds maintenance for all Preventive Measures offices. They will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are safe, clean, up to code, and fully operational. The facilities and security manager will also be responsible for maintaining and documenting routine maintenance, inspections and repairs.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee security of buildings and grounds
2. Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference
rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
3. Performing janitorial duties such as emptying trash, spot cleaning and disinfecting high touch
surfaces.
4. Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
5. Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
6. Scheduling routine inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
7. Maintain reports on facility walkthroughs, maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences
8. Maintain ongoing communication with contractors and employees.
9. Managing PM facility request in a timely manner
10. Managing catering and vending services.
11. Ensuring the building is locked/unlocked for business hours.
12. Facilitating mail pickup and mail distribution.
13. Managing building parking spaces.
14. Maintaining ongoing communication with the property manager for building needs or issues.

1. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
3. Good organizational skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication.
