What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Pride Health?
Position: Pharmacist- Inpatient
Location: 1190 Waianuenue Ave Hilo, HI 96720
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: 40 Hours All Shifts required (24/7), weekends
Weekly Pay Range: : $2800-$3200
Review and execute physicians’ prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster. Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice
Provide assistance with other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements, etc.
Requirement:
Meditech EMR system, Med carousel centralized storage, Pharmacy Keeper, PyxisES dispensing cabinets. familiar with Meditech computer system, minimum 2 yrs. experience
BLS, RPh, State of Hawaii License
Professional, white coat or scrubs OK
3 full days of orientation
