Pride Health is currently looking candidates for Travel Technician position in Binghamton, NY. This is a 3 month contract position.
Schedule: 2nd Shift: Mon- Fri; 12:30pm – 11:00pm
Job Duties:
- Performed laboratory testing in all designated sections of the laboratory in an accurate and timely manner. (Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Immunohematology)
- Performed accurately and documented quality control and instrument maintenance.
- Recognized and responded to all critical values and delta checks.
- Identified and corrected technical problems and notified appropriate personnel.
- Performed phlebotomy when required.
- Listened to customer complaints/suggestions and submitted reports appropriately.
- Demonstrated organizational skills using time, equipment and supplies appropriately.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- New York State License required.
- The tech will need to be fully Covid vaccinated.
- Associate’s degree in medical technology or vocational training preferred.
- 0- 2years of experience is required.
