Job Description
Pride Health is currently looking candidates for Medical Assistant position in Irving, TX . This is a 6 month contract position with possibility of extension. Its a Contract to Hire role.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Duties:
Specific Duties:
1. Patient Rooming, Intake & Discharge
2. Completing patient testing; generating referrals; calling patients about lab results; responding to patient messages and portals.
3. Restocking exam rooms; completing point of care logs; stocking medical inventory
4. Checking in Telemedicine Appointments
Must have qualifications/experience:
1. Prior Medical Clinic Experience
2. Experience with processing referrals & prior authorizations
3. Experience with performing an EKG
4. Current MA Certification
Qualifications:
- CMA/RMA Cert. with experience
- Active CPR/BLS from American Heart Association
- Highschool/GED or equivalent
Pay range - $20 - $23.87/hr.
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise and education.
