The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is an integral role within Pride Investment Partners and its operating business entities to contribute across a variety of areas including Marketing, Human Resources, Community Relations, and Customer Experience.
Essential Functions
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a key representative of the company’s products and services to existing and prospective customers. He/She is responsible for supporting the efforts of the marketing team to carry out a variety of marketing campaigns and objectives and will work directly with the Marketing Director as a team to develop and carry out all programming and initiatives relative to Pride Investment Partners and growing the brands of its operating business entities including Leo’s Market and Eatery, Evolution VR, etc.
Core Responsibilities
· Develop marketing creative collateral for monthly promotions for rewards members and for in-store promotional needs
· Company newsletters development, including creative content writing and design; ability to seek out and collaborate with all levels of the organization
· Upkeep and creative content development of online social media platforms
· A steward representative of the brand, he/she will respond to all customer inquiries and reviews
· Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company leadership
· Issue weekly/monthly reports to management
· Handle customer questions and issues regarding the management of all loyalty rewards programs
· Assist with charitable and community relations initiatives, sponsorships, and donation requests
· Presents design ideas and recommendations to Marketing Director
· Develops creative collateral materials as needed and distributes (flyers, brochures, promotional coupons or sales materials, etc.)
· Schedules and coordinates a variety of programming as needed for the successful operation of the various business entities
· Assists with and participates in events and/or relative activities
· Competitive and industry research
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field or one to three years of experience in business, marketing or related field
· Experience creating or co-creating and implementing marketing campaigns
· Experience planning and executing events
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Creative collateral / marketing content writing and design/development experience or experience collaborating on marketing design projects
· Strong social media platform skills
· Ability to work well in support of the Marketing Director and other leadership; and work proactively, efficiently and independently
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
· Experience in creative design programs, compiling reports, and a quick learner of various associated-business software
· Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
