Sanitation Supervisor

PrideNow is hiring for a Sanitation Supervisor for one of our Poultry Farming clients in Windsor, ON, Canada. It's a full-time position with benefits.

Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire
Pay: $50,000-52,000 per year.

Job Description

Summary:

To adhere to sanitation schedule and ensure sanitation activities are properly adhered to in order to ensure that production can begin, and all products meet regulatory requirements, as well as internal and external specifications and all food safety requirements are met.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Adhere to schedule for the planned daily sanitation activities at the facility.
• Ensure cleaning and set-up of equipment to ensure proper start-up whole pack and cut-up activities.
• Complete sanitation activities to ensure the fulfillment of finished products for shipment as per customer orders
• Communicate with Supervisor/Manager regarding deviations found during sanitation activities.
• Complies with all company guidelines, GMP’s, policies. All other duties are followed and implemented as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adheres to all Health & Safety guidelines and communicates concerns to Supervisor/Manager immediately.
• Any other duties requested by Management.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and in damp wet conditions
• Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Physical requirements: standing and walking for extended periods of time, bending and lifting.
• Fast paced environment.

Requirements:

• Sanitation experience.
• GMP, HACCP/ Food Safety Training
• Understanding of BRC and FSEP/HACCP Program
• Power washing experience.
