What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at PrideStaff?
Pridestaff is currently seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to assist with their client's growing needs in Ft. Lauderdale! The ideal AP/AR Specialist will be responsible for the preparation and interpretation of information for management decision-making. Ensuring financial transactions are accurate and in compliance with the company’s accounting policies and procedures. You would also interface with clients/vendors.
Responsibilities:
- You will perform a wide variety of general accounting work including filing, billing, and recording information.
- Conduct bookkeeping activities, including reconciling cash accounts, A/R, A/P, and expenses.
- Assist in preparation of financial reporting as required by Management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with individuals and/or other departments as needed to resolve accounting and reporting issues and questions.
- Any other related duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Must be a team player and responsible individual who takes initiative and ownership
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
