Assembler - 2nd Shift - Asheville - $18.00/hr.
PrideStaff is recruiting for an Assembler for 2nd Shift for a manufacturing company located in Asheville.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform setups and follow the first piece approval process before beginning operation.
- Assure tooling is maintained and always returned to its designated storage area.
- Perform daily safety checks per work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Comply with all Quality Management System requirements and assure before operating any process that all work instruction training for that job has been satisfied.
- Support customer delivery requirements to assure 100% on time delivery.
- Support and drive lean manufacturing techniques including 5S, visual factory, setup reduction, cellular concepts and continuous improvement.
- Complete all documentation as required by work instructions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to work safely in a busy manufacturing production facility.
- Communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated an ability to performing a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated an ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Lift up to 50 lb, prolonged standing with pushing, pulling and twisting required.
