CNC Milling & Lathing Operator
2nd Shift / Mon-Thur / 3 : 30pm - 1 : 30am (4 days-10 hrs)
$16 / hour

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced & dependable CNC Milling & Lathing Operator on behalf of our client in Pelzer, SC.
The CNC Milling & Lathing Operator will monitor machines as well as measure dimensions of completed products to verify conformance to specifications.
CNC Mill & Lathe Operator Activities :
- Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Mount materials or workpieces onto production equipment.
- Mount attachments or tools onto production equipment.
- Set equipment controls to meet cutting specifications.
- Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
CNC Mill & Lathe Operator Skills you will learn :
- Operations Monitoring Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Quality Control Analysis Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Equipment Maintenance Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Judgment and Decision Making Considering the benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Monitoring Monitoring / Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
CNC Mill & Lathe Operator requirements include :
- 1 or more years of CNC milling & lathing machine operations
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
