What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at PrideStaff?
PrideStaff Financial is seeking a Controller for the US headquarters of an international company on a Direct Hire basis. You will report to the President of the company and oversee staff. This role will be hands-on and will manage daily financial operations to include AP, AR, invoicing shipments, purchase orders, P&L and reporting. Amazing health insurance, PTO, and bonus opportunity.
A successful candidate in this role is an effective manager and a contributing member of the company’s strategic planning team.
Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Oversee daily accounting functions including review of all accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and month-end close reconciliations
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for the company
- Generate month-end reports and inventory management
- Assist with preparation of annual budget
- Perform cash flow management and serve as primary liaison to banking relationship
- Inventory management
Requirements for the Controller position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3 – 5 years experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller ready for the next step in your career
- CPA a plus
- Strong financial statement knowledge, including preparation of financial statements and financial analysis
- Accounting software MAS 90 Sage or other
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
