What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver mover position at PrideStaff?
PrideStaff is looking for a Driver / Furniture Mover for a new and growing, community service oriented company located in Denver, CO.
In this position, you will be making a difference every day helping people in the community. This is a non-CDL position and you will be driving a box truck.
This is a Direct hire opportunity.
Job Duties for the Driver / Furniture Mover :
- Provide friendly, positive, and stress-free item removal experiences for all customers
- Perform daily truck inspections to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance
- Safely operate our 26 ft, non-CDL truck to transport items to and from the company warehouse
- Educate clients about pricing and services
- Safely move, pack, and load customer belongings into the truck
- Unload the truck into the warehouse.
Job Requirements for the Driver / Furniture Mover :
- Clean driving record for the past three years
- Prior experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle
- Active and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (70 lbs. or more) while climbing stairs, balancing, and walking.
- Positive outlook and willingness to work hard
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screens
