Materials Coordinator
Location: Scottdale, GA
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Receive material into inventory software
- Remove material from inventory software when it has been used.
- Read and interpret detailed structural drawings and facilitate transferring information from those drawings into inventory management system
- Determine what material can be processed by our shop and what material will need to be purchased
- Provide the shop with cutting information for the material we need to process.
- Provide the Purchasing Department with information for material that must be purchased
- Print labels for main material when the drawing processing is complete.
Physical Requirements:
- This position is primarily sedentary. There will be some walking within the shop and office at times.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Minimal lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Required Skills:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Tekla EPM a major plus
- Previous experience in Structural Steel Industry or Construction Industry highly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must maintain neat outwardly appearance at all times
- Ability to Multitask
