We are seeking a variety of WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES for a manufacturing company in the Park Forest, IL area! We have immediate openings in numerous departments on the production floor depending on your experience and interest.
- FABRICATION / MACHINE OPERATING
- SHIPPING / WRAPPING
- ASSEMBLY
- POWDER COATING
1st and 2nd shifts available!
* 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm
* 2nd shift 3:15pm-11:45pm
$15.25 - 16.50 per hour TEMP-TO-HIRE
Responsibilities may include:
- Work in a machine shop surrounded by various machinery
- Operate machines including press machines and grinders, measure parts using a tape measure
- Order pulling and fulfilling
- Assembly using hand and power tools
- Operate a manual pallet jack
- Use shrink wrap machine to wrap pallets for shipment
- Final Assembly and Shipping duties as needed
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of recent manufacturing/ machine shop experience
- Ability to handle physical workload, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for a full shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow direction
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment - hand tools, power tools, etc. PREFERRED
- Ability to read a tape measure and solid math skills PREFERRED
