Warehouse Manager - 2nd Shift
PrideStaff Gulfport is currently seeking a second-shift Warehouse Manager for our client. This person will be responsible for the following duties:
- Be proficient in and manage all warehouse systems such as Dematic, VIP, and Fleet Loader
- To see that all breakage and the out-of-date product is properly handled according to company policy
- To make sure the route trucks return loads are correct and reconciled with the driver
- To make sure all route trucks are stripped of the return loads and properly stacked and rotated in the warehouse
- Ensure that productivity standards, cases per hour, cost per case, etc., are maintained
- Ensure all damaged products are made up as damage comes in on route trucks or that which occurs in the warehouse
- Train new employees on processes and procedures and monitor their progress
- Supervise the loading of route trucks and ensure vehicle load-outs are accurate
- Assist in the loading of route trucks.
- Keep the breakage room door locked at ALL times to ensure no out-of-date product is put in there.
- When all trucks are loaded and checked out on a load sheet, be sure all pallets are built up in the warehouse and properly rotated (partial pallets)
- Ensure all empty pallets and empty kegs are stacked in the proper place (out of C.E.W.)
- Maintain the appearance of the warehouse; keeping it clean and organized
- Making sequence adjustments in the pick area as needed and making sure the rack area is kept filled
- Conduct nightly inventory count and report to Operations Manager
