What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Nurse Practitioner position at Primary Healthcare Centers?
Primary Healthcare Centers is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner with the passion and skills to deliver high quality healthcare for all ages. Primary Healthcare Centers (PHC) is a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides medical, nutritional, and behavioral health care services to the citizens of our communities regardless of ability to pay. We have operated since 1978, and have facilities in Dade, Walker, Catoosa, and Chattooga counties.
The FNP candidate will need to be licensed in Georgia and must have two years experience in an outpatient primary care setting. The position is in one of our established, school-based primary care clinics and requires a 5-days per week, 8-hour day work schedule. The provider must be committed to providing quality pediatric and adult medical care and have the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a busy primary care setting . The provider will need to be comfortable seeing patients independently and may be asked to work at other clinic sites on occasion.
PHC is a registered site for the National Health Service Corps, giving you the opportunity to apply for loan repayment. PHC provides $1800 per year in continuing education and offers professional dues reimbursement. Your liability insurance will be covered under the Federal tort Claims Act (FTCA).
