Position purpose - Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

The purpose of this position is to run the day-to-day operations of the organization’s business to improve the productivity, effectiveness, and quality of the branch.

  • Manages payroll records
  • Maintains office equipment and supplies
  • Assists and monitors clerical and secretarial functions
  • Trains and provides direction to employees
  • Ensures personnel files are up to date and secure
  • Improves, formulates, and implements processes, policies, and procedures in support of organizational goals to maximize output
  • Monitors adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Organizes recruitment and placement of required staff
  • Establishes organizational structures and establishes work schedules
  • Supervises and delegates tasks and accountabilities to staff and evaluates job performance
  • Assists branch manager in the development, implementation, and management of strategic plans for operational activity

Qualifications

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to effectively and professionally handle difficult situations that may arise when working with branches/divisions
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and telephone protocol
  • Familiarity with Accounting terms and procedures (e.g. debits, credits, General Ledgers, etc.)

Work Requirements

Each employee must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, utilize a computer, maintain a work schedule, and effectively perform in an office setting. To maintain and ensure secure privacy of borrower (and other protected) information, an essential function of this job may require physical attendance in a defined office space. (i.e. branch or corporate office location). Employment with PRMI requires compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as PRMI policies. The ability to work extended hours may be required.
