Job Title: Safety Representative

Location: Honolulu, HI

Description: Construction firm seeking a qualified safety representative to support the management team in various areas of project safety training and management over new construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform construction safety-related duties on projects as directed by company owners.
  • Provide general oversight of safety on job sites making recommendations as necessary.
  • Assist workforce as needed based on the scope of the project.
  • Conduct daily safety auditing and inspections over the project.
  • Conduct equipment and PPE inspections.
  • Develop safety reports utilizing electronic safety software.
  • Assist/conduct safety meetings.
  • Perform duties using the highest level of safety at all times.
  • Other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • BCSP CSP (required).
  • Site safety construction auditing.
  • Accident and incident investigations.
  • Knowledge of General Industry 1910 and Construction 1926 Standards.
  • Initial and annual OSHA training experience.

Education: Bachelors Degree (required)

Experience: 5 Years

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pearl Harbor, HI 96860: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
