POSITION SUMMARY
PrimeFlight Cargo is seeking a Scale Agent to join our team!
As a Scale Agent, you will work in our warehouse and operate our scales, documenting all inbound and outbound scale transactions. The ideal candidate for this position is organized, reliable and detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
Since the cargo business runs 24/7, weekend and night shifts are sometimes required for our team members.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures accurate and complete documentation for all inbound and outbound scale transactions.
- Inspects paperwork and loads for inbound and outbound freight, entering all information into the computer system.
- Maintains order and housekeeping of the scales work area.
- Completes daily reports and maintains logs, spreadsheets, and other reports as assigned.
- Conducts required company audits and ensure continuity and compliance at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge and experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment.
- Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Google Sheets & Docs is a must.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to complete a background check, including FBI criminal history, employment background, and pre-employment drug test.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
COMPENSATION
- The pay rate listed on this post, is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. However, individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
