Primitives By Kathy® (PBK) is the #1 wholesaler of “present day primitives” to nationwide retailers. PBK focuses on creative design, ahead-of-the-market product innovation, and international sourcing. The Key Account Coordinator is responsible for functioning as a liaison between sales, accounting, warehousing, and most importantly, the client to ensure full customer satisfaction. All duties are performed in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
*This job can be remote-based but will require routine visits to PBK Corp. office in Lancaster, PA.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Order Management
- Manage orders from PO receipt to ship date to ensure on time shipping
- Ensure accurate entries of Sales Orders and review item availability
- Coordinate with Purchasing Team to place custom orders with Factories
- Maintain proactive and ongoing communication with Factory about order requirements
- Create and/or purchase price tickets and carton labels
- Review Factory Inspection Reports
- Communicate and process all customer orders through the warehouse
- Submit routing requests, schedule pick-ups and communicate transportation instructions to the Warehouse
- Process Sample requests for Account Managers
- Customer Management
- Analyze and understand Vendor Guide requirements for each customer
- Learn Retailer portals to enter required info
- Provide new item set up sheets, item attributes and photos as requested per Customer guidelines
- Review all chargebacks. Process RAs for those that are legitimate and investigate and dispute others
- Import
- Provide direction to overseas factories for Direct Orders and POE shipments
- Ensure factory orders are handed over to freight forwarder per shipment requirements
- Review Commercial documents and upload to customer portals
- Work with Customs Broker on POE shipments
- Complete other tasks as assigned to support Key sales programs and projects
Job Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Highly efficient at multi-tasking, prioritizing and decision making in a timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone and internet etiquette
- Team player and contributor as well as well as ability to work independently
- Must be able to communicate in an organized, cohesive, logical and effective manner
Education and Experience:
- Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 plus years account coordination, sales or customer service experience in a warehouse, wholesale or retail environment
- Preferred – Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field, plus 2 years account coordination, sales or customer service in a warehouse, wholesale or retail environment
- Supply Chain experience a plus specifically working with Direct Import and Port of Entry orders
- Customer service experience helpful
- Home Décor knowledge welcome
Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Outlook
