About the role… you will be part of a growing company headquartered in Cedar Rapids, IA and you will be located preferably in Cedar Rapids. You will have a passion for light medical design and construction. You will be responsible for leading the projects from collaboration with design, through construction, and then to successful completion. Your work will require you to have highly developed expertise in project management, architectural design and technical knowledge. - While remaining people & relationally focused, aggressively pursue critical timeline and budget goals to deliver a project that meets or exceeds contractual conditions of performance set forth within construction agreements and communications with Clients and Team Partners

- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, including complete engagement with other team members both internally and externally
- Promptly and accurately review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables, estimated costs, and projected profitability for each project. Reporting is to be done daily, weekly, and monthly as requested by Primus Management Team
- Be relational focused with clients to provide enjoyable experience and outstanding customer service. Build and maintain relationships with Primus employees, clients, and subcontractors/suppliers
- Review the work progress on regular basis while maintaining communication with clients and team members as needed. Field questions and respond promptly to all members of the Primus and Project teams
- Client communication on a weekly basis
- Work with Field Superintendents on building and maintaining schedules, including communication to all team members internal or external
- Prepare internal and external paperwork and reports pertaining to job status, including estimates, proposals, contracts, subcontract agreements, schedules, change orders and invoicing, as required by other team members, with the assistance of Project Advisors and Project Assistant

- Seek solutions to current issues and participate in anticipating and mitigating potential future problems. This will require to analyze, manage, and mitigate risks
- Utilization of the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organization vision and purpose. Specifically, as it pertains to projects in your direct lead

- Report and track budget impacting errors and omissions throughout the full arch of a project, from design through completion of construction

- Create FRP’s and solicit pricing & estimates from subcontractors and suppliers to assemble comprehensive budgets for proposed projects

- The ability to manage well 6-8 projects in various stages of the projects

- Utilization of the Primus Punchlist Process, (PPP), for all projects

Minimum Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- 5 years of Project Management experience
- Commercial general construction experience, preferred

Salary Range
- $75,000 - $90,000, plus bonus paid on performance
