The Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County is seeking qualified applicants to fill a Community Developer 4A position, grade A-27, to serve as a Real Estate Development Project & Program Manager
- Ensure the proper and timely administration of assigned programs in accordance with applicable operating agreements and funding source guidelines/requirements, including but not limited to the following funding sources- Prince George’s County, Maryland Department of Community Development, and HUD CDBG.
- Collaborate with the senior management to fulfill organizational objectives and goals; execute and fulfill various housing/development programs and new initiatives.
- Support the Redevelopment Authority's (RDA) major projects from inception to completion.
- Support and operate in a manner that reinforces the RDA’s mission, goals, and policies to internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate and support senior management with the preparation of compliance reports for submission to the Executive Director; Attend committee, advisory, board, task force, and special focus group meetings.
- Assist senior management with identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks, and
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned, which may not be speci?cally listed in the position description; however, are within the general occupational category and responsibility level typically associated with the employee's class of work.
Location: 9200 Basil Court, Largo, Maryland 20774 Position. Telework options may be available in accordance with County policies and subject to the approval of the Executive Director.
Work Environment: The incumbent typically works in offices. Travel to attend events, meetings, and project sites during and after typical office hours may be required.
DURATION OF ELIGIBILITY: Candidates will be selected from a temporary register of eligible candidates, which will become effective approximately four (4) weeks after the closing date. Once a selection has been made, the register will expire.
