Principal Asset Management is seeking a Financial Analyst III to join our Net Investment Income Forecasting team. This role is a great opportunity for someone that has knowledge or strong interest in investments.
Someone successful in this role will be a self-starter with a natural curiosity of the “why’s” behind processes and taking initiative to learn. This role is a financial planning and analysis role so therefore, this person needs to be highly analytical and be able to solve complex problems. Being able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as meet deadlines is key. This role has a good variety of quarterly tasks and project work. In this position you will interact with financial analysts, actuaries & CFO’s of various business areas across the company. Being able to present financial information as well as strong communications skills is necessary.

This role offers the ability for in-office, or hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements in Des Moines, IA. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
