As a Product Owner on our individual retirement solutions marketing team, you will lead our conversion rate optimization practice focused on driving increased business performance through Principal’s web channel. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve conversion rate while defining and prioritizing the testing backlog. You will play a significant role in the effort to introduce new features that improve the user experience and ultimately convert more customers online. This role is critical in leading the website experimentation practice within our cross functional team.
Here are few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:

Optimize our website conversion funnel through quantitative and qualitative testing.

Manage the website experimentation lifecycle from hypothesis generation through test execution and analysis.

Implement and deploy A/B tests using web testing and analytics platforms.

Collaborate with creative, analytics, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver an industry leading web experience.

Build and prioritize testing roadmaps and calendar.

Work closely with marketing and technology teams to enhance digital capabilities and increase sales.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, plus at least 4 years related experience

Excellent communication skills required including the ability to influence and negotiate

Solid strategic thinking, collaboration and decision-making skills required
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $58700 - $142800 / year Additional Information:

Hours
This position may require on-call responsibilities.
Work Environments
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
