What You'll Do
We’re looking for a Sr Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Business Solutions area! In this role, you’ll align to our Finance technology teams with the focus of solution architecture while leading and influencing through several modernization efforts. This opportunity will help us achieve our overall Finance vision by designing and building out architecture for all of Finance (Financial Reporting, Transaction Management, Treasury, Tax and Procurement).
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Create standard practices and design patterns for our cloud approach and build out an architecture runway for us while collaborating with the business and delivery teams to transition from our legacy current state to our target architecture
- Collaborate with team, business, and Enterprise Architecture to build out Finance data strategy
- Own and design all software development layers of a solution. Regularly deliver software on-time and constantly work to make accurate estimates and deliver on those estimates
- Understand the trade-offs between technical, analytical and product needs and lead to solutions that take all the needs into account
- Ability to demonstrate design thinking and create solution architectures. Own design and solution architecture for team's work; can span multiple vendor platform systems
- Champion external contacts and peer group interaction. Consult with business partners on future technical trends/directions to meet business strategy initiatives
- Provide technical advice and weigh in on technical decisions that impact the finance teams or the company at large. Research, influence and propose new technologies

Who You Are
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience)
- 8 years of engineering experience with a combination of:
- Solution design and architecture
- Data integrations with cloud platforms
- Vendor platforms
- Cloud platform (we use AWS, but open to experience in Google or Azure)
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to business partners as well as communicate business objectives to the technical team and get consensus
- Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills
- Leadership (informal or formal)
- Desire to learn new technology and continuously grow
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range
