*Relevant job or educational experience, including as a para-educator, working with children or adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, education in Behavioral Sciences, or other similar fields

* Ability to pass Community Care Licensing background check & a current CA driver's license
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Communicates findings in the milieu to the Charge Nurse and other team members.
- Encourages client participation in the milieu and activities.
- Is able to develop a therapeutic relationship with patients regardless of severity of
illness.
- Effectively uses less restrictive interventions.
- Uses non-confrontational body language when on the unit.
- Accepts assignments from the charge nurse readily.
- Records and documents diagnoses-driven observation of patients throughout the shift.
- Assures a safe treatment environment as per policy.
- Participates in clinical treatment team sharing observations and findings, when
required.
- Conduct regular chart reviews and audits in accordance with established program
procedures.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Experience in psychiatric rehabilitation, preferably in a social rehabilitation environment is
preferred.
- Strong computer skills including email and internet navigation required. Experience with
medical charting preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour
